Andrew brings a range of skills and experience not often found together, which drive the Coaster Group philosophy. Working simultaneously across different industries and disciplines, he has a unique view of the business landscape.
Andrew is an accomplished project manager with experience in many leadership and coordination roles. He has over 10 years experience in the live production industry, designing creative and technical solutions for theatre, concerts and events - including touring the country with professional productions.
Creativity is in Andrew's make-up - doing what hasn't been tried before is what motivates him, whether helping to tell someone else's story or creating a new one.
Andrew is also a communications and business strategist, having worked for one of Australia's largest communication and public relations firms on national and international campaigns, as well as with new and growing SMEs. He creates high profile and effective online and digital projects for national and international projects.
HIghlights of his agency time were helping deliver two major online engagement campaigns, being responsible for online and social media for the Australian Pavilion at Yeosu Expo 2012 and website development, management and content curation for Australian Year of the Farmer 2012.
Experience working with organisations in industries including media and the arts, government, health and lifestyle, outdoor education, consumer goods, building and construction, industry groups and not-for-profit organisations gives Andrew the ability to help others respond the the greater environment they work in.
Alongside this he has always been a keen technologist, loving a new gadget and understanding how things fit together. Bringing technology to people’s everyday lives in a way that really adds to them is something he is passionate about.
Andrew's focus is always on working with people to develop ideas and concepts into viable projects, then sharing them with the world. These projects see him bring his technical, business and communication strategy experience together to create new, innovative businesses. Through Coaster, Andrew is a co-founder tech start-up Rollercoaster Digital, currently in the development phases of its first projects and in negotiations to establish international branches.
